Charlotte Petersen
Classical and Celtic Harpist
Charlotte Petersen is genuinely one of Scotland's most talented harpists, composer and arranger playing both concert harp and Celtic harp (clarsach). She studied with the great jazz harpist, Savourna Stevenson and has a degree in Harp Performance by the R.S.A.M.D. (Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Dance). Her experience includes playing throughout the U.K. and Europe and has appeared on B.B.C. Radio.
Charlotte has recorded and written music for top class musicians as well as publishing a book of her own compositions.
As a performer, Charlotte exudes a warm and infectious presence and is a joy to listen to. Her range of music is extensive and includes classical, jazz, swing, Celtic, Scottish and modern favourites plus, of course, her own compositions.
