Stewart Maclennan
Classical Guitarist
Stewart Maclennan is an extremely gifted musician and composer who has studied at Ian Tomlin School of Music, London College of Music and the A.B.R.S.M. (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Stewart has gained much experience in the music field as both a practical musician providing music for weddings and other special events across Edinburgh, to composing music for films and websites. Stewart graduated in 2005 with an Honours Degree and now teaches full time and provides music for weddings, corporate events and functions. His most recent projects include arranging, performing and recording The Romantic Music of Scotland, an album of original songs called "Maybe For a While", an album of popular classical guitar music and also a CD of original guitar compositions.
Stewart's unique gift is composing original pieces especially for events, for special occasions and for various projects. Stewart's music is emotive and very expressive, which is sure to please the music enthusiast.
His varied repertoire ranges from beautiful solo arrangements of classics, like "Air on the G String" by J.S. Bach and "Claire De Lune" by Debussy to traditional songs like "My Love is Like A Red, Red Rose".
