Classical Guitarists - Scotland
Adrian Eaton
Adrian is a self-taught classical guitarist and has been playing and teaching the guitar for 30 years. He's won the Open Category of the Inverness Music Festival for the last four years and runner up four times at the Curtis Craig Competition. He's been attributed with single-handedly "resurrecting the Classical Guitar at the Festival". Adrian plays in a variety of styles including renaissance and baroque lute music, popular music and his favourites performances are from the classical and romantic periods.
Neil Dunnachie
Neil is an accomplished classical guitarist who also specialises in medieval music. A wonderful addition to your wedding particularly if you are planning a themed wedding such as medieval or celtic.
Neil first picked up the guitar at very young age of 6 years old. His parents encouraged his music and invested in lessons at the Arts Guild in Greenock, plus he studied classical guitar with a private tutor and achieved grade 3.
Neil also concentrated on the electric guitar where his influences have been Queen, AC/DC, Rainbow, Van Halen, Motorhead, David Bowie, Kiss and Rush.
Stewart Maclennan
Stewart's unique gift is composing original pieces for special occasions and for various projects. Stewart's music is emotive and very expressive, and his varied repertoire ranges from beautiful solo arrangements of classics, like "Air on the G String" by J.S. Bach and "Claire De Lune" by Debussy to traditional songs like "My Love is Like A Red, Red Rose".
