The Keystrings are a cocktail duo specialising in mellow, easy listening, light jazz, classical and Celtic music. Stevie's vocals are sweet-sounding, rich and warm, covering songs that everyone will want to sing along to. The Keystrings combine piano, violin, guitar, sax, clarinet and vocals to create a wonderfully sophisticated, elegant and cosmopolitan atmosphere that will make any event one to remember. Their music would be perfect for private parties, drinks reception, lounge, piano bar or background music.
Their music covers everything from Brian Adams to Debussy, plus some contemporary, classical and ceilidh pieces. Stevie and Joseph are committed to outstanding musical performances. Joseph Hume attended the RSAMD (Royal Academy of Music and Drama) and posesses a degree in Music technology. He plays piano, clarinet, saxophone and organ. He's appeared on BBC television and ITV. Plus he's an accomplished and sought after piano teacher as well as being an excellent musical arranger. Joseph has won awards in musical performance during his time in education including a distinction in the Ayrshire festival, and one of only five students to qualify for attendance in the European orchestra 'Notes from a Small Island'.
Stephen Bull is a graduate of Strathclyde University. He plays guitar, violin, bass, keyboard and sings, and is a full member of the Performing Rights Society as a composer. He's apperared on BBC radio, local television and Clyde 1 FM. Stevie has appeared alongside the likes of English Folk band 'The Levellers' and toured Scandinavia and England.
